Nathaniel Garcia, a digital media artist, curator, and education scholar. He has worked as a video editor and motion graphic designer on short films, commercials and art videos that have been exhibited around the world. In 2020, he founded DAS NYC, an exhibition & workshop space designed to help digital artists move closer to realizing their creative goals through software instruction and digital art exhibition. Nathaniel is interested in non-hierarchical, project-based approaches to learning. This means students learn through the collaborative execution of projects that stress innovative approaches to problem-solving.

He holds an Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. He is currently working on his doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University.
